Charge for Submission of Articles

The journal will not charge for the submission of articles.

Peer Review Process

“Revista Ambiente” uses the double blind peer review system, in which the article is sent to two reviewers (Ad Hoc reviewers), who are professors, researchers and specialists in the subject of the work. The reviewers will not have access to the names of the authors and vice versa, in order to guarantee the transparency and impartiality of the process, as well as the confidentiality of the information.

Privacy Policy

The names, addresses and other data sent to “Revista Ambiente” will be used exclusively for the defined purposes, and will not be used for other purposes or made available to third parties.

Exemption Policy

The publication of the article does not mean approval, endorsement or recommendation, by CETESB - Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo, of products, services, processes, methodologies, techniques, technologies, companies, professionals, ideas or concepts mentioned in the work.

Plagiarism Check Policy

All papers sent to “Revista Ambiente” for evaluation will be submitted to the similarity evaluation in Turnitin platform or similar.

Historic

The “Ambiente, Revista CETESB de Tecnologia” was published by CETESB between 1987 and 1994, focused on the publication of original or review works on Environmental Technology, “comprising studies of ecosystems aiming at their preservation, and technical innovations in processes and structures of environmental quality control.” The institution's scientific and technological production has always been significant and CETESB has always been a school.

The CETESB Higher School (ESC) was created in 2013 by decision of the Board of Directors. In 2015, it was accredited by the State Council of Education as an institution dedicated to the development of professionals with higher education, as well as authorized to teach postgraduate courses in the environmental field.
