Retenção de íons Pb2+, Cd2+, Co2+ e Zn2 em alumina
Keywords:

The mobility of metal ions in the environment may be affected by their interactions with oxides of aluminium. The retention on alumina (Al2O3) of divalent metal ions is examined as a function of pH. The pH50 (the pH required for 50% retention) is inversely proportional to pK1 (first hydrolysis constant of metais) and defines the selectivity sequence of the substrate for the divalent cations: Pb > Zn > CO > Cd.
