A precisão de testes de toxicidade com Daphnia
Keywords:
analytical precision, coefficient of variation, toxicity tests, Daphnia similisAbstract
Acute toxicity tests with Daphnia similis have been run with the objective of evaluating their analytical precision, tive metal salts and seven liquid industrial effiuents have been used with this purpose. The intralaboratory analytical precision, expressed as coefficient of variation (C.V.) was of 27,3% for tests with HgCJ2, 21,7% for CuSO4 . 5H2O, 10,4% for NiSO4. 6H2O and 15,4% for ZnSO4. 7H2O. The interlaboratory analytical precision showed C.V. of 14,4% for tests with K2Cr2O7 and of 14,0% for the tests with industrial effiuents. These coefficients of variation values indicate a good precision of the toxicity tests with Daphnia similis, showing that they are adequate as routine tests for the control of chemicals to be disposed in water bodies.
