O sulfato de cobre como agente tóxico

Abstract

The acute toxicity of copper sulphide to Poecilia reticulata was studied through static toxicity tests carried out in the laboratories of the Department of Environmental Health, of the Public Health Faculty, University of São Paulo. The temperature, hardness and alkalinity of the water used in the tests were similar to those of natural waters of the State of São Paulo. The results were: 24h-LC50 - O, 134 mg/L de CuSO₄; 48h·LC50 - 0,096 mg/L de CuSO₄; 72h-LC50 - 0,087 mg/L de CuSO₄; 96-LC50 - 0,080 mg/L de CuSO₄.
