Desenvolvimento e meio ambiente sob nova ótica

Abstract

This paper points out that, in spite of the sustainable development concept represents a clear evolution of thinking along the last 20 years, it is still an ideal which requires to overpass a set of conceptuais and methodological problems. The solutions are not "universal", but adequated to each community in the time-space, through the practice of the negociations among the diferent envolved actors. It concludes that the efforts to carry out the sustainable development at planetary levei are hard not only due to the complexity of the subject, but also due to the strategic and economical issues associated to it.
