Abstract

Domestic wastes treatment technology by upflow anaerobic sludge blanket digester offers a solution to a number of situations in Brazil, taking into account its low cost, simplicity, small area used and possibility of modulation. CETESB has developed and built a 120 m3 digester and this paper presents the results that have been-0btained and the steps of the technological development.
