Abstract

This work studied the influence of raw water temperature in the fluoride remo vai process. Two activated alwnina -obtained in CETESB laboratories-beds were used: the first was operated with room temperature raw water and the second utilized raw water at 63 ºC. Experimental results of treatment runs and the regeneration procedure employed are presented. Results appoint a fluoride ions removal increase with raw water temperature increment.
