Controle da poluição na Bacia do Rio Piracicaba em 1985

Abstract

This article emphasizes the integrated actions of environmental pollution control de-veloped by CETESB at Piracicaba basin in 1985. These actions were carried out through specific: ope-rations in terms ofwater pollution comrol, air pollution comrol and solid wastes pollution. The maio results have been achieved through reductions in terms of odors due to anaerobic conditions in th<: Piracicaba river at the town of Piracicaba, fish kills and the remaining industrial pollution load dis-charged into the basin.
