Nitrogênio inorgânico em águas de escorrimento superficial

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the N-inorganic leveis in runoff in amounts which received different leveis of fertilizers. The amounts have been treated with chemical fertilizers, organic fertilizers (domestic waste compost) and with a mixture of both. The runoff was collected in tanks laid out in a lower levei as regards each experimental facility. N-NH+4 losses were bigger than the N-NO-3 ones and the former were bigger when the amount of lost waterdid not exceed 10% of the total settled in the amount. The N-NO-3; contents in the surface water, in ali treatments, showed much lower data than the values permitted by the World Health Organization.
