Abstract

To promote the ecologically supported development is now crucial to the survival of our planet. Thus, the interchangc of ideas and experience among areas and countries which have been developing similar proposals is always welcome. ln view of this, this articlc includes information about thc law on land or-ganization and urbanism in thc Province of Quebcc, Canada. For ten years the Government has beco invest-ing in the enforcemcnt of the laW, by mcans of a decentralized adminiscration program known as "Land Or-ganization Scheme'' (''Lc schéma d'aménagement' ') which has provided for the land reorganization of Que-bec with the participation of 690 municipalitics in the Province.
